Westbrook Village is unique among the Northwest Valley’s active adult communities not only because of its location along Peoria’s Lake Pleasant corridor, but also for its quality of life - the amenities, the clubs and the people.

Community Centers

Westbrook Village features a pair of Community Centers, both open to residents in either Phase 1 or Phase 2. Each community center features different amenities and plays host to a variety of clubs and other activities groups.

The Lakes Recreation Center includes a Wood Shop Annex, Lapidary Room, Pottery Room, Billiards Room, Computer Room and an Aerobics Room. The Lakes center also feature a heated spa, a large veranda and a nearly-Olympic size pool with a separate lap section for those looking to squeeze in their daily workout.

Tennis courts and horseshoe pits also are available, not at the Lakes Recreation Center itself but across from the center near the Golf Course.

The Lakes Recreation Center, including the pool, is open 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Children’s pool hours at from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The Vistas Recreation Center includes a Ceramics Room, Stained Glass Shop, Needle Arts Sewing Room and a multi-purpose room that doubles as the location for dance classes and clubs and table tennis. The center also boasts equipped exercise rooms and, like the Lakes center, has a near-Olympic sized pool with a spa and large veranda. Tennis courts and Bocce Ball lanes also are available at the Vistas Center.

The Vistas Recreation Center is open 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the pool is open during the full span of operating hours. Children’s pool hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The Fine Arts and Learning Center, open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., features an Art Studio, Photography Lab, Posse Station, Book and Video Library and also game and general meeting rooms.

Clubs and Activities

Westbrook Village offers a wide variety of clubs and activities groups, from exercise classes to poker and bridge clubs. No matter what your interest, there almost certainly is a group of Westbrook Village residents who share your passion.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Book & Video Library is open in the Fine Arts & Leaning Center 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Donations of old books and video tapes can be made in the FALC lobby.

Helping Hands provide short-term help to those in need. Also, the Lakes Recreation Center has health-care equipment needed during convalescence.

Holiday Beautification volunteers are needed to decorate Westbrook Village during the holiday season.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Posse offices are located in the Fine Arts Learning Center and provide service to Westbrook Village.

The Vanguards meet monthly at the Vistas Recretation Center to pick up litter along Westbrook Village’s main roads.
